Panic Attack Therapy
Panic attacks by and large are part of the genre of anxiety attacks. But they are a unique part of the genre insofar as the sufferer literally goes into a panic. Such a person becomes gripped by an uncontrollable fear and may exhibit very unusual symptoms. The classic cases of panic attack are people who suffer from post traumatic stress - e.g. soldiers who have returned from war. In extreme cases they become so paralyzed with fear that they fall down on the ground and possibly into a coma that may last for several minutes. It is not known what triggers these attacks.
