Acid Reflux Symptoms and GERD
Acid reflux symptoms, as noted, vary from person to person, as does the severity of these symptoms. It has been found that patients who have not been diagnosed with acid reflux can take an antacid for a day or two and it do not recur. However, if your symptoms of heartburn, neck or shoulder pain continue more than once or twice a week, you most probably have chronic acid reflux and should be treated for such.
