Sunbathing a Thing of the Past
With skin cancer becoming more prevalent over the years and the risk of death from melanomas becoming greater, more people are electing to seek out sunless tanning alternatives in order to gain that sun-kissed glow. The National Cancer Institute, a division of the U.S. National Institute of Health reports that there were more than 1,000,000 new cases of non-melanoma skin cancers in 2008, and 62,480 cases of melanoma, of this number over 9,400 of these cases were fatal.
